Klotz Lake Camp
Welcome to Klotz Lake Camp – the eastern gateway to The Spirit of the North Tourism Region and Greenstone! Celebrating 50 years of serving Northern Ontario!
Klotz Lake Camp is physically situated on Hwy. 11 – 30 miles (50kms) east of Longlac and 60 miles (100kms) west of Hwy. 631 (Mooseland). It’s a one mile ride into our camp from the OFSC trail. The OFSC groomer comes right up to our gas pump! It’s also not unusual to see the groomer here, as we groom the trail from our camp to the Hearst line to the east of us, and back.
We have a small confectionery store and stock oil and other snowmobile related items. Maps are available here as well as directions and assistance. We offer email service, fax service and good service. We accept MasterCard and Visa, Interac (Canadian debit) and good old cash.
Our cabin will accommodate up to 8 people and is stocked as an honor-bar system, with all kinds of beverages, juices, chocolates and fruit. Snacks and microwave popping corn are on the shelves, in addition to coffee and tea. Satellite television is in the cabin as well as wireless internet service. Enjoy a moonlit ride on these gorgeous trails, watch the northern lights, or enjoy a game of poker (cards, chips and tables provided). We also stock a variety of board and card games for your enjoyment. We are not the Hilton, but our cabin is clean, cozy, tidy and warm. If you’d rather stay away from the city and want to enjoy the beautiful northern Ontario wilderness, then we’re the place for you.
Meals are provided and served in the cabin family style. All dinners include rolls and dessert. Breakfast is served at whatever time you select – no need to rush. The cabin is a flat rate of $125.00/night , meals are $25.00/person for both dinner and breakfast. Reservations are required in advance. A $75.00 deposit will be required to hold the cabin.
For those of you just stopping in for gas and to say hello, we offer hot soups and sandwiches in addition to snacks and beverages in the store. We’ll call ahead to your next destination to let them know you’re coming and we’ll check on the trail conditions for you. Most of all, we want you to know your business is appreciated and we’ll do whatever we can to make sure you have a great trip!
Thanks for visiting our website – please let us know if we can be of service to you…
Your hosts, Michael & Toni Moroz
