About Our Camp
Klotz Lake Camp is a Canadian family owned and operated, full-service outfitter. Having lived here year round for 50 years, we have the experience and the knowledge to make your stay with us one to be remembered! Over 80% of our
customers come back year after year, and we hope you will want to join them!
Klotz Lake Camp is located on beautiful Klotz Lake, approximately 7 miles long, and not more than a mile wide
along most of its length. It widens to about 3 miles at the east end. You will be driving along the shoreline of Klotz Lake
admiring the beautiful scenery before you reach our camp, which is centrally located on the lake.
You can also reach Flint Lake by boat. Flint is somewhat larger than Klotz and is reached by way of Hoiles Creek,
directly across from our camp. Both lakes are studded with numerous islands and bays, providing sheltered fishing and many
very pretty spots for shore lunches. You will never find these pollution-free waters too rough to fish at any time.
We're A Housekeeping Camp
We have 10 cabins grouped in a horseshoe-shaped avenue. Each has plenty of room between for parking and privacy. There are 1, 2, 3 and 5 room cabins, all with a view of the lake. All cabins are fully equipped for light housekeeping. Beds have linens and blankets - dishes, cutlery, pots and pans are supplied. There are propane stoves for cooking and electric or propane heat. There is a sink and refridgerator in each cabin.
There is a shower building with inside toilets, and water supply centrally located. Our modern cabins offer a private bath and full kitchen. We even have a cabin that will comfortably accommodate 9 to 12 people.
Camping
On the north side of our property, right on the water's edge, we have a campground with space for up to 20 units. There is also a dock and beach area for your use. Water for your holding tank is available across the road at the main camp. Most units have full electric hook-ups for your convenience. Docking and shower privledges are included in the per unit price.
"Fire-pits are lakeside and firewood is readily available for your use. There is plenty of room for large motor coaches and motor homes and pull-thru units. Reservations are not required but are encouraged if you have a large group or need special arrangements."
Outpost Cabin
Located on Flint Lake, approximately 6 miles by water from the main camp, we have an outpost cabin. It is located on a beautiful, sandy point and has propane cooking and lights. You must bring your own sleeping bags. We provide you with plenty of ice for your trip, however most parties come up to the main camp for supplies sometime in the middle of the week. To get there you must rope your boat(s) down 2 sets of rapids, but the fishing for northern pike and walleye is superb! From our outpost you can also fish the Flint River, well known for its great brook trout fishing.
Klotz Lake Camp Convenience Store – “The Klotz Lake Camp store is open from 8 to 8, seven days a week for your convenience. We carry basic groceries like milk, eggs, bread, butter, etc. plus plenty of souvenirs and gas. We are a License Issuer for the Ministry of Natural Resources and have been selling resident and non-resident hunting & fishing licenses for over 50 years. We sell live bait and due to limited space for tackle, we only carry what works. We also offer the finest in maps of the area as well as depth maps of local lakes, in addition to the best information around.
We have a fleet of 14’ deep-wide Naden boats and 8hp Yamaha outboards. Bring your boat & motor or rent one of ours. We also carry trailers, canoes and kayaks for rent.
